49ers Super Bowl odds: San Francisco survives scare, remain Super Bowl favorites
By Reed Wallach
Despite a stiff test from the Green Bay Packers on a rainy Saturday night, the San Francisco 49ers emerged as winners in the Divisional Round to advance to the NFC Championship Game.
San Francisco is a touchdown favorite against the Detroit Lions on Sunday at Levi's Stadium, enhancing the team's chances of returning to the Super Bowl for the first time since 2020. The betting favorite for much of this season, the 49ers are firmly the chalk still with two weeks of football remaining.
The 49ers are in control of their destiny, favored over any team ahead of them, but the game against Green Bay showed how difficult any team will be for Brock Purdy and the Niners. It's also worth noting that Deebo Samuel is "50-50" for the NFC Championship Game against the Lions.
Even with Samuel's status in doubt, the Niners are still massive favorites and expected to beat the Lions, giving the team an extra BYE week to prepare for the Super Bowl. That's how talented this roster is and why the team has been at the top of the odds board all season.
