49ers vs. Seahawks: How to listen to Thanksgiving game on the radio
By Peter Panacy
It might be easier for some fans this Thanksgiving to tune into the 49ers and Seahawks via the radio.
The San Francisco 49ers and Seattle Seahawks are about to play their second Thanksgiving game ever.
The first one, of course, isn't one Niners fans care to recall, especially watching quarterback Russell Wilson and cornerback Richard Sherman devour turkey on the San Francisco logo at midfield at Levi's Stadium back in 2014.
Nine years later, however, the 49ers can return the favor as they travel north to take on the Hawks for the Thanksgiving Day finale of games, a Thursday Night Football showdown on NBC Sports.
Usually, Amazon Prime broadcasts Thursday Night Football. But, given the holiday and subsequent festivities, it's only natural to make the game available nationally on cable television and without the need for a streaming service.
That said, fans will always find themselves looking for the radio broadcast for one reason another, perhaps to go out and run a quick errand to the store (egg nog is a good excuse) or to get away from the in-laws and sneak into the garage to listen to the radio sitting on the workbench.
Whatever your reason for listening to the NFC West rivalry showdown instead of watching it, we've got your info right here.
