Joe Burrow, Cincinnati Bengals (Week 8)
Speaking of MVP candidates, Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow is already up there toward the top of oddmakers' predictions about which player takes home the award after the upcoming season.
Considering just how dangerous Cincy's offense can be, banking on Burrow to do just that wouldn't be a bad idea.
The 49ers managed to survive a budding Burrow-led offense back in 2021 during a thrilling overtime victory out in Cincinnati, yet the Bengals now appear to be a frontrunner in a loaded AFC and are perhaps the only team that could legitimately challenge the Super Bowl-champion Kansas City Chiefs for the conference title.
Burrow is a massive reason why, and the Niners would love for nothing more than to ensure he doesn't come close to eclipsing Chiefs quaterback Patrick Mahomes in that regard.
Even though San Francisco has little regard for Mahomes either.
