Someone needed to step up for the 49ers after Brandon Aiyuk was inactive against the Giants. Enter the seventh-round rookie, Ronnie Bell, for his first touchdown of his career.

The San Francisco 49ers haven't had it all their own way against the New York Giants on Thursday Night Football at Levi's Stadium, but one player that won't be forgetting the game in a hurry is seventh-round rookie wide receiver Ronnie Bell.

The wideout has flashed some serious talent throughout the preseason, and with wide receiver Brandon Aiyuk inactive for the game with a shoulder injury, he's taken full advantage and now has his first career touchdown under his belt.

Oh , it was his first career reception as well:

The Giants brought pressure on quarterback Brock Purdy on third down, and the young quarterback absorbed it with a perfect throw to the front corner of the end zone where only Bell could do it.

Bell got both feet inbounds, and that must have felt good.

Well, initially, there was a brief moment of panic when a flag was thrown on the play as well. Luckily, the penalty was called for offside on the Giants defense and Bell could properly celebrate after.

The touchdown put the 49ers up 10-3 in the second quarter, with them looking to get through the short week unscathed and with a win to give them a 3-0 start to the season.

And if Bell can keep hauling in more touchdowns like that, he's going to find himself a much more important member of the offense moving forward.

Enjoy the touchdown, Ronnie. The first one is always the one that you remember the most.
