49ers preseason game today vs. Broncos: Betting odds, kickoff time, how to watch on TV and stream

The 49ers host the Broncos for Week 2 of the preseason, and Niner Noise has you covered on what you need to know.

For San Francisco 49ers fans wondering if they'll get to see quarterback Brock Purdy at all this preseason, there's a decent chance the second-year signal-caller winds up seeing the field for a short bit in Week 2 of the exhibition phase of games when the Denver Broncos come to town.

Head coach Kyle Shanahan wasn't overly committal about Purdy and some of the starters suiting up for Saturday's contest, but he did hint that it was possible.

Shanahan wasn't overly pleased with the Niners' lackluster efforts last Sunday against the Las Vegas Raiders in which San Francisco was outclassed by a score of 34-7. Granted, preseason scoring doesn' t mean much, but even the head coach admitted it was a hard game to watch.

Perhaps things will be slightly different with Denver this weekend.

When and where is the 49ers preseason game vs. Broncos?

The 49ers and Broncos kick off their preseason Week 2 matchup on Saturday, Aug. 19 at 8:30 p.m. ET from Levi's Stadium in Santa Clara, California.

49ers vs. Broncos: Betting odds, spread and over/under

According to the oddsmakers over at FanDuel, the Niners are four-point home underdogs with a moneyline of +165.

Denver's moneyline is -195, and the over/under for the game is 39.5.

Mind you, this is preseason betting. But people do it.

Game odds refresh periodically and are subject to change.

What TV channel is the 49ers-Broncos game on?

In the Bay Area, KPIX 5 and The CW will handle the local television broadcast. Other Northern California and regional channels may carry the CBS broadcast as well.

Check your local providers for coverage.

Radio coverage will be featured on the 49ers radio network, including Bay Area flagship stations, KNBR 680 AM and 107.7 FM The Bone.

Additionally, NFL Network will rebroadcast the game on Tuesday, Aug. 22 at 4 p.m. ET.

It might be difficult for out-of-market fans to watch the game live, so there are streaming options available.

In-market fans do have the option of visiting 49ers.com or downloading the official 49ers app to stream the game on preferred devices, while NFL+ (subscription required) will offer live broadcasts of every preseason game.

49ers next game

The Niners wrap up their 2023 preseason campaign on Friday, Aug. 25 at Levi's Stadium against the Los Angeles Chargers.

That game will kick off at 10 p.m. ET.

Then, San Francisco will begin its regular-season campaign on the road in Week 1 against the Pittsburgh Steelers on Sunday, Sept. 10 at 1 p.m. ET.
