Arik Armstead dealing with a foot injury, probably won't play vs. Seahawks on Sunday

Leading up to the game in Philadelphia, defensive tackle Arik Armstead missed two days of practice with a foot injury that had been bothering him.

Kyle Shanahan said he "wasn't sure" if it was the same foot issue that kept Armstead from playing nearly half of the regular season a year ago, but it was pretty evident on Sunday against the Eagles that the foot was bothering the interior lineman in a serious matter.

Armstead eventually had to exit the game and didn't return.

Matt Barrows subsequently reported that Armstead will likely have to miss the Niners' Week 14 home game against the Seattle Seahawks, but the foot injury isn't considered to be anything serious:

Should Armstead miss the game, as is reported to be most likely, defensive tackles Javon Kinlaw and Kalia Davis would benefit the most and potentially see an uptick in field time.
