With 17 weeks in the NFL season it's easy to forget what happened back in September. And, when you're having an exciting year like the San Francisco 49ers are, you just can't remember it all.

No. 4: Christain McCaffery and Brandon Aiyuk put up highlights vs. Cardinals

In Week 4, the 49ers began their bird hunting season against the Arizona Cardinals. Historically, Arizona always plays San Francisco tough, but this game brought out the best in CMC and Aiyuk.

Let's start with McCaffery. This game broke a record that stood for a long time, we're talking "Hall of Fame Jerry Rice had this record" long.

In Week 3, CMC tied Rice with a touchdown in his 12th straight game. The very next game, the record was broken. McCaffery put up three TDs including this highlight reel hurdle:

In the same game, Aiyuk made this ridiculous catch, which is shown in highlight reels and montages of why Purdy should be the MVP:

You can breakdown the pass however you want, but BA saved Purdy from an interception while creating a clip which will be played on repeat until the 2024 season begins.
