49ers live undrafted free-agent tracker 2024 (every signing we know)
By Peter Panacy
Niner Noise keeps track of all the undrafted free-agent signings the 49ers make following the 2024 NFL Draft.
Kicking off their 2024 NFL Draft class with Florida wide receiver Ricky Pearsall, the San Francisco 49ers don't have too many open spots on what will be their 90-man offseason roster.
That probably means the Niners won't be overly active when the draft wraps up on Saturday, April 27.
Inevitably, there'll be plenty of players who could have been drafted but ultimately slipped into the queue of undrafted free agents. And there are projects, too, who may be worth some development.
However, considering San Francisco has a stacked roster, those UDFA players may be hesitant in signing with the 49ers because of the unlikelihood of landing a regular-season roster spot after training camp.
Plus, the Niners don't have too many open spots anyway.

Sure, San Francisco could cut another back-end-of-the-roster player to make room, but one shouldn't expect a lengthy list of UDFA signings now that the draft is complete.
Nevertheless, let's track each one of the undrafted signings the 49ers make after creating their class of picks from the 2024 NFL Draft.

- RB Cody Schrader, Missouri (Jordan Schultz)
- QB Tanner Mordecai, Wisconsin (Jeremy Fowler, ESPN)

- OL Briason Mays, Southern Mississippi (himself)

Mordecai has an outsider's shot to compete with veteran Brandon Allen for the third-string spot on the depth chart behind Brock Purdy and Josh Dobbs.
Owens, son of Hall of Famer Terrell Owens, worked out for San Francisco during the team's local pro day.
