49ers vs. Lions: Breaking down the announcers for NFC Championship Game
The San Francisco 49ers are in the NFC Championship Game for the fourth time in the last five years. While a lot of people expected the Niners to be here, not many probably realistically expected the Detroit Lions to be their opponent in the NFC title game.
The Lions have had a season for the ages, however, and now they'll look to continue their Cinderella story against the Niners. Who is on the call for the final NFC match-up of the season with a trip to the Super Bowl on the line?
49ers vs. Lions announcers for NFC Championship Game
At this point, Niner fans know the drill. Their team is no stranger to playing in the NFC title game so it should come as no surprise who the announcers will be for the big game.
On the call for the 2024 NFC Championship Game is Kevin Burkhardt, Greg Olsen, Erin Andrews, and Tom Rinaldi. Burkhardt is the play-by-play announcer, Olsen is the color commentator, and Andrews and Rinaldi are the sideline reporters.
Despite appearing in three of the previous four NFC Championship Games, the 49ers have only punched their ticket to the Super Bowl once during that time. Hopefully they get the job done this weekend.
