The San Francisco 49ers saw their Super Bowl odds take a massive leap after their dominant 42-19 win over the Philadelphia Eagles on Sunday.

Heading into Sunday’s rematch of last year’s NFC title game, the 49ers were the favorite to win the Super Bowl at +400, according to DraftKings Sportsbook. However, San Francisco is now sitting at +310 after it dismantled the Eagles.

The 49ers are also the favorite to win the NFC (+150) despite having the second-best record in the NFC (9-3) with the Detroit Lions and only being one game behind the Eagles for the No. 1 seed.

The Eagles had no answers for the 49ers’ trio of Brock Purdy, Christian McCaffrey, and Deebo Samuel. Purdy completed 70.4% of his passes for 314 yards and four touchdowns. He’s also the favorite to win MVP (+300).

Samuel had 138 scrimmage yards and three total touchdowns, while McCaffrey poured in 133 total yards and a rushing touchdown on 20 touches. He also averaged 5.5 yards per carry. It’s no surprise why McCaffrey is a contender for Offensive Player of the Year (+135), as he makes the 49ers unstoppable and hard to defend.

According to Brandon Wheaton of Action Network, the 49ers are 21-0 since McCaffrey joined the team last season and have field a healthy offense (Samuel, Brandon Aiyuk, George Kittle, Purdy). They have a +363 point differential in those games.

They are also winning by an average of 17.3 points per game, and only five of those wins have come fewer by 13 points.

When you have an offense playing at a historic level and embarrassing opposing defenses, it’s hard to say they shouldn’t be the Super Bowl favorites. As for San Fran’s defense, they have a star-studded pass rush that features Nick Bosa, Chase Young, and Javon Hargrave. Then, at linebacker, they have a star in Fred Warner and Dre Greenlaw.

Nonetheless, this 49ers’ team is forreal, and right now, the only thing that can stop them from getting back to the NFC title game is themselves. San Francisco has proven this season that they are the best in the NFC after thoroughly dismantling the Eagles and Cowboys.
