With NFL rosters required to be cut to 53 players by 4 p.m. ET on Tuesday, Niner Noise takes one more stab at predicting the 49ers roster.

It's been a weird week in San Francisco 49ers land leading up to the final preseason game loss against the Los Angeles Chargers and heading into final roster cuts on Tuesday.

A lot of that centers around former No. 3 overall pick and now-Dallas Cowboys quarterback Trey Lance, whom the Niners shipped off to Dallas on Friday for a 2024 fourth-round draft pick.

The whirlwind around the pick that brought Lance to San Francisco and the circumstances that ultimately led to his being traded have already been discussed ad nauseam and likely will continue to be.

This isn't the place for that to be extended.

But add that to a still un-extended Nick Bosa, an array of untimley injuries to players at key positions, and you've got the makings of what should be an interesting series of roster decisions for San Francisco as the cut-down deadline looms.

And so with the weight of that hanging over the proceedings, let's take a final stab at predicting who will crack the 49ers' final (relatively speaking) 53-man roster when it is announced on Tuesday afternoon.

Some of these choices, as we've said in doing this projection several times throughout the offseason, are pretty easy. But surprising camp performances combined with those aforementioned injury woes make many of the depth decisions quite tricky.

So without further ado, let's begin with what has become one of the easier groups to predict: the quarterbacks.
