49ers fans expected to take over Rams' home venue (again) in Week 3

Once again, SoFI Stadium is affectionately living up to its moniker of 'Levi's South' whenever the 49ers visit.
One of the great things about having the San Francisco 49ers and Los Angeles Rams play each other twice a year (they're in the same NFC West division, after all) is that there's a yearly reminder that the former team, not the latter, actually dominates California.
Even down south.
Niners fans travel to (or live in droves nearby) SoFI Stadium, LA's home venue that has seen plenty of fans donned in red and gold whenever San Francisco pays a visit.
With the 49ers heading down to Southern California for a Week 3 showdown against Los Angeles, there'll be another opportunity for a "Niners takeover" of SoFI Stadium.
49ers fans will be the majority at SoFI Stadium in Week 3
A year ago, when San Francisco visited LA, the Rams actually opted to wear their road whites for the game. Granted, home teams can select whichever uniform they want, but it was an ominous sign Los Angeles was acknowledging there'd be fewer Rams fans at SoFI than 49ers fans.
Not surprisingly, Niners fans are expected to take over SoFI Stadium again in Week 3.
According to data from Vivid Seats, 62 percent of fans attending this NFC West showdown will be San Francisco fans.
That means the 49ers will have the bulk of the crowd in their favor, creating all kinds of noise when LA's offense takes the field, which has been a factor before in games at this particular venue.
The Niners and Rams kick off on Sunday, Sept. 22 at 4:25 p.m. ET.
