49ers vs. Commanders: Week 17 game time, location, betting odds, TV channel and streaming

The Niners could afford a "get right game" after such an ugly loss to the Ravens, and fortunately, the Commanders aren't a good team and should afford San Francisco such a chance.

The 49ers look to bounce back from an ugly Christmas loss to the Ravens, and the Commanders present a great opportunity.

One of the few bonuses stemming from the San Francisco 49ers playing on a short week is that they have to quickly turn the page on what was quite the ugly Monday Night Football loss to the Baltimore Ravens on Christmas.

No time for head coach Kyle Shanahan and Co. to dwell on what happened there. The only thing to worry about is whether or not quarterback Brock Purdy, left tackle Trent Williams and several other injured Niners can heal up in time for the upcoming week.

Now at 11-4, San Francisco could afford to steal some momentum back in its favor, and a lackluster 4-11 Washington Commanders squad presents the perfect opportunity.

Sure, it's a road game for the 49ers, who'll be making the East Coast road trip on the short week.

But, pound for pound, the Niners should have relatively little trouble dispatching both Williams and defensive end Chase Young's former employer in Week 17.

Shanahan's, too, for that measure.
