The 49ers were potentially going to be without Arik Armstead and Javon Hargrave for two weeks in a row, but at least one of them will be available against the Ravens.

The San Francisco 49ers had a pretty specific problem during their Week 15 win over the Arizona Cardinals. While the victory was convincing, the Cardinals nevertheless rushed for 234 yards against coordinator Steve Wilks' defense, marking the most yardage on the ground the Niners had given up since 2017.

Notably, starting defensive tackles Arik Armstead and Javon Hargrave were both out for that game with injuries.

Armstead is still out, dealing with a foot injury that has been lingering, and he'll miss his third week in a row.

Hargrave, who has a hamstring injury, will play for San Francisco's high-profile Christmas Day matchup versus the Baltimore Ravens on Monday Night Football in Week 16. And that'll be a massive boost against a Baltimore offense that leads the NFL in rushing.

49ers inactives vs. Ravens:

Defensive end Randy Gregory, who made a late appearance on the injury report because of illness, is also going to play, which should help the 49ers' D-line depth.

Including Armstead, here is the full list of Niners inactives for Monday night against Baltimore:

  • DT Arik Armstead
  • QB Brandon Allen
  • WR Jauan Jennings
  • TE Ross Dwelley
  • LB Oren Burks
  • RB Elijah Mitchell
  • CB Samuel Womack

Jennings (concussion) and Mitchell (knee) will limit San Francisco's offense to an extent, but both are role players at most.

The 49ers could miss Burks' presence on special teams, however.

The Niners and Ravens kick off Monday Night Football on Dec. 25 at 8:15 p.m. ET from Levi's Stadium in Santa Clara, California.
