49ers Player No. 2: LT Jaylon Moore

While most people may have thought that offensive tackle Jaylon Moore was a lock to make the roster, Niners offensive line coach Chris Foerster commented (h/t Yardbarker) that "[Moore]'s been maybe not everything that we've wanted to be up to this point," referring to Moore's return from an injury suffered earlier in training camp.

That does not mean that Moore's roster spot was at stake, but he certainly was not a lock, and his play in the first two preseason games was equally rough.

But Moore took charge of his roster spot against the Chargers, playing quite well in his snaps.

It was the type of play necessary for Moore to showcase why he should be the backup left tackle to Trent Williams, who despite his dominant play has not played a full slate of regular season games.

It was a good sign for Moore and San Francisco.
