Shoring up the right side of the offensive line is an issue that'd go beyond just one first-round draft pick.
Jon Feliciano and Spencer Burford rotated the role at right guard, but the former is a soon-to-be free-agent journeymen, and the latter hasn't quite developed as the Niners would like.
Christian Haynes has some size limitations at 6-foot-2 and 318 pounds that restrict him to guard, but that won't matter to San Francisco. What Haynes brings to the table is strength and toughness, which was on show when he had a strong showing at the Senior Bowl.
