It's official. There's no division in football better than the NFC West. The San Francisco 49ers, Seattle Seahawks, and Los Angeles Rams are all legitimate Super Bowl contenders after two weeks.
Three of the West's four teams posted dominant wins in Week 2, establishing the hierarchy in the division. If Brock Purdy and the Niners are going to hold onto their spot at the top, they'll need to be as close to perfect as possible throughout the rest of the season.
As our attention turns to Week 3 action, here's how things currently stand in the NFC West.

1. San Francisco 49ers
The 49ers' win over the Dolphins felt inevitable all week, but that didn't make it any less sweet. The current roster is still one of the most talented groups in football when healthy, and they've made a point of proving it through two weeks. Kyle Shanahan's offense is clicking, and the defense has only allowed 20 points across two games.
San Francisco and Seattle are neck-and-neck for the top spot in these rankings, but the Niners' impressive Week 1 win over the Rams breaks the tie. Both teams look ready to compete for a Super Bowl.

2. Seattle Seahawks
Beating a divisional opponent by 24 points on the road with your backup quarterback sends an undeniable message: The Seahawks haven't taken a step back after winning the Super Bowl last season.
Drew Lock has been exceptional over the last two weeks, leading his team to back-to-back wins. Seattle won't have to go without Sam Darnold much longer, though, as Mike Macdonald announced he'll be back at practice this week. The Week 5 matchup between the Seahawks and the Niners is already looking like one of the most pivotal games of the season.

3. Los Angeles Rams
What happens in Melbourne stays in Melbourne, at least for the Rams. Los Angeles bounced back from its defeat to the 49ers with a comfortable win over the New York Giants on Monday Night Football. Even without Puka Nacua on the field, Matthew Stafford was dicing up New York's secondary.
It's hard to ignore the talent on this roster, especially when Myles Garrett returns. Unfortunately for the Rams, they're not the only title threat in the NFC West.

4. Arizona Cardinals
The Cardinals quickly came back to earth after their Week 1 win over the Los Angeles Chargers. Their loss to the Seahawks reestablished the order of the division. Arizona's offense couldn't move the ball throughout the game, failing to complete a pass for more than 10 yards.
Mike LaFleur's team is an interesting watch, but the Red Birds don't have the talent on either side of the ball to keep up with the rest of the NFC West.
