San Francisco 49ers star linebacker Fred Warner showed up to the team's offseason workouts in style. The defensive standout wore a shirt laden with two legendary Niners wide receivers in Jerry Rice and Terrell Owens.

The shirt can be viewed on social media here.

Rice is obviously the best wide receiver in franchise history and arguably the greatest NFL player ever, but Owens was no slouch in his own right as he also had a Hall of Fame career and had plenty of memorable moments in San Francisco.

This is not the first time Warner has worn the shirt, either. He sported it last October while standing next to Terique Owens' locker who just so happens to be the son of Terrell Owens. The younger Owens said he wants the same shirt so he can give it to his father.

It is cool to see Warner pay homage to these past Niners legends in this way, but it was even cooler to see him at the team's voluntary offseason program at all. With veteran George Kittle skipping the program as he is in the midst of a contract dispute, it is only natural to fear other veteran players would skip the proceedings as well.

Thankfully, Warner said that he does not plan to miss any offseason programs due to any contract disputes. With San Francisco likely to have a young defense next season, it is going to be important to have a leader like Warner in the building as much as possible to help guide the rookies and show them the ropes. There are some enticing draft prospects the team can pair with Warner at linebacker to try and recreate the magic that existed when Warner and the recently departed Dre Greenlaw were on the field together.

Warner also spoke about how excited he is to have Robert Saleh back as the team's defensive coordinator. Saleh was Warner's defensive coordinator when Warner first broke into the NFL, so the hope is that Saleh can return the team's defense to its previous glory.

If you want to rock Warner's shirt, there are very similar versions available online. Rice was on the team the last time San Francisco captured a Super Bowl 30 years ago, so let's hope Warner's shirt creates some good mojo as the franchise looks to win its sixth Lombardi Trophy.
