San Francisco 49ers football is back. Although they've only played one preseason game in 2026, pundits and fans already have some thoughts on the Niners' rookie class.
One rookie in particular who has drawn a lot of praise from his preseason debut is wide receiver De'Zhaun Stribling.
The second-round pick out of Ole Miss dazzled against the Tennessee Titans to the tune of seven receptions for 63 yards, all in the first half, including some impressive highlight-reel plays over the course of his snaps.
The league quickly took notice. The NFL's official X (Twitter) profile posted a tweet praising the rookie for his "impressive preseason debut."

NFL Insider Ian Rapoport also tweeted out a positive message about Stribling and his "ability to catch basically everything."
Beyond helping justify San Francisco's use of a Round 2 draft pick, Stribling is also doing his fantasy football suitors a major favor.
De'Zhaun Stribling's preseason debut positively impacted his fantasy football value
Although it was a preseason game, Stribling's performance was no doubt impressive. All of training camp, reports have come out about his speed and potential to give the 49ers a deep threat they severely lacked last season.
However, against Tennessee, he made catches all over the field, some with great levels of difficulty. His ability to hang onto 50-50 balls in tight coverage was on full display.
Stribling's impact was even felt in the world of fantasy football. Yahoo! Fantasy Sports even tweeted that in the last week, he had jumped 26 spots in ADP.
That's impressive for any player, let alone a rookie.
We'll see how Stribling follows up that performance in his second preseason game against the Los Angeles Chargers this Thursday.
49er Faithful will no doubt be hoping and praying that his debut performance was not a one-off, but rather a sign of things to come.
Soon-to-be fantasy owners will be, too.
