The much anticipated 2025 NFL schedule release is now a thing of the past, and we now know the San Francisco 49ers open the 2025 season on the road against the Seattle Seahawks.

Every game will be important for the Niners as they look to bounce back from a highly disappointing 2024 campaign in which they finished 6-11, last in the NFC West.

The 49ers have two Monday Night Football games this upcoming season. The first will be at home against the Carolina Panthers on Nov, 24, whlle the second will be on the road against the Indianapolis Colts on Dec. 22.

Quarterback Brock Purdy might have some famous friends in attendance in Indianapolis at that game.

Which of Brock Purdy's friends show up to 49ers vs. Colts?

Tyrese Haliburton, the star of the NBA's Indiana Pacers, is a fellow Iowa State alumnus alongside Purdy. The two of them attended Iowa State around the same time and were both stars at the college in their respective sports.

Haliburton has shown a lot of support for Purdy over the years and even showed up to Pacers games wearing a Purdy jersey to show him support ahead of Super Bowl LVIII.

It's therefore not a stretch to anticipate seeing Haliburton hanging out around Lucas Oil Stadium to cheer on Purdy during the primetime affair.

The other superstar who might also show up in support of No. 13 in December is the face of the WNBA, the Indiana Fever's own, Caitlin Clark.

Purdy is connected to Clark through a friendship with her brother, Blake Clark. While Caitlin made a name for herself playing basketball for Iowa, her brother attended Iowa State and played football there.

Blake was Purdy's backup quarterback at the collegiate level and became great friends with him over the course of their time at Iowa State.

Haliburton, of course, is headed to his second-straight NBA Eastern Conference Final, awaiting the winner of the Boston Celtics and New York Knicks.

Clark will be kicking off her second WNBA season as the Fever host the Chicago Sky on May 17.

While Clark and Haliburton have a lot of business to take care of between now and Dec. 22, we will hopefully see them in attendance on Monday Night Football cheering on Purdy and the Niners.
