Artificial intelligence predicts 49ers to end Super Bowl drought soon

This is assuming humankind even makes it this far.

If artificial intelligence is taking over everything, 49ers can at least take comfort in its long-term Super Bowl predictions.

Older generations of San Francisco 49ers fans have no problem recalling the glory years of the 1980s and mid-1990s.

Younger generations, however, still have no clue what it's like for the Niners to actually win a Super Bowl. Instead, those generations have been crushed by plenty of close calls, including what happened against the Baltimore Ravens in February of 2013 or two losses of late in the big game against the Kansas City Chiefs.

San Francisco has been close, but that's been more agonizing in some ways than the dreadful years the franchise experienced in the late 2000s or the interim years between head coaches Jim Harbaugh and Kyle Shanahan.

Worry not, though, Faithful. The Super Bowl drought that extends back to 1995 might soon be coming to a close, at least according to one unique prediction.

AI predicts 49ers win Super Bowl to close out 2026 season

There's no shortage of human-based predictions out there, and that's fine. But, what happens when we ask artificial intelligence?

Evan Hand on Instagram did just that, asking ChatGPT the winners of the Super Bowl for the next 50 years.

San Francisco fans should be happy with the predicted response, which you can check out here.

According to the AI prediction, the 49ers will win Super Bowl LXI to be hosted in February of 2027. That'll end the 30-year drought the Niners have endured since their last Lombardi Trophy.

It gets modestly better, too, as San Francisco adds its seventh Lombardi Trophy 10 years later to conclude the 2036 season, then yet another in 2045.

Humorously enough, the Cleveland Browns and Seattle Seahawks do not appear on the list of AI predictions, which begin to delve into strange-sounding teams like the Austin Armadillos and the London Monarchs.
