49ers would be thankful if this 7-round mock NFL Draft came true
The 49ers are on a downward swing this Thanksgiving season, but they would be thankful if they could come away with these presents in the 2025 NFL Draft.
With the San Francisco 49ers headed into Thanksgiving with the injury list growing larger and the margin for error growing shorter in their attempt to make the playoffs, you'd be forgiven for being a bit highly strung these holidays.

Maybe it's time to stop looking at the standings and worrying about the injury list for a while, and look at some 2025 NFL Draft prospects instead.
We're well on the way to the college playoffs and its expanded format, which has created a lot more excitement and made games much bigger this season.
So let's take a look at what the Niners might do with every pick if it ended today.
For the draft order, we'll be using Tankathon's full pick rundown.
Pick No. 17: Jonah Savaiinaea, Offensive Tackle, Arizona
Jonah Savaiinaea has been rising up the draft ranks and could be the first tackle taken off the board if his rise continues, but he's an excellent pick for San Francisco at this juncture.
Someone who would fit well in a zone-blocking system and a good size at 6-foot-5, 320 pounds, Savaiinaea has been playing well for Arizona and is an athletic blocker who can start at right tackle in the NFL before becoming the future starter on the left.
Pick No. 48: Jonah Monheim, Center, USC
Yes, a second Jonah for the offensive line indeed.
Jonah Monheim used to play tackle for the Trojans but moved to center for 2024, which has proved to be an astute move as he's played well this season, minus some underwhelming tape against Michigan.
Monheim could, in theory, be used all along the offensive line, which would suit a team like the 49ers that values versatility. But center will be his best role in the NFL with a good size at 6-foot-5, 295 pounds, and it's a position that needs a big upgrade in San Francisco.
Pick No. 79: Jared Ivey, EDGE, Ole Miss
Jared Ivey may not even be available at this stage in April, but he's a big time pass-rusher and a position that San Francisco needs some young blood at.
Ivey currently has seven sack and 10 tackles for loss for Ole Miss.
A strong pass-rusher who' ha improved every year in the college system, Ivey probably won't ever grow into an amazing run defender for the NFL, but he's a good size already at 6-foot-5 and 279 pounds, and at worst, should be a situational pass-rusher in the pro ranks.
Pick No. 101: Luke Lachey, Tight End, Iowa
Iowa has a stellar reputation for developing elite NFL tight ends, including arguably the 49ers' best ever in George Kittle, and it might be time to seriously look at his heir apparent.
It's fitting to perhaps once again look at Iowa.
Luke Lachey has 25 receptions for 218 yards this year for the Hawkeyes. He hasn't lit up the college arena, but he has the tools to contribute more in the NFL. Lachey also has mismatch potential at 6-foot-6 and 253 pounds.
Pick No. 115: Zy Alexander, Cornerback, LSU
Cornerback is no longer the more dire need for the Niners, but they could stand to add more depth to the position even if the immediate starters are there.
Zy Alexander has had a solid season for LSU.
Someone with the size to play outside at 6-foot-2 and 188 pounds, Alexander has had a good year with four passes defended and two interceptions for the season.
He could serve as a solid reserve with the potential to evolve into a starter down the road.
Pick No. 137: Derrick Harmon, Defensive Tackle, Oregon
The 49ers always like adding to their defensive line, and Derrick Harmon looks like a player on the Day 2/Day 3 bubble who could be an interesting developmental project.
Harmon has had a strong season for the Ducks after transferring from Michigan State, recording seven tackles for loss, three sacks, four passes deflected and two forced fumbles for the season.
At 6-foot-5 and 310 pounds, it'll be interesting to see if he can add any size without losing his athletic ability for the NFL.
Pick No. 192: Carson Bruener, Linebacker, Washington
The Niners might look for some depth at linebacker given the play there hasn't been up to the usual high standard.
Could Carson Bruener be the next big steal at the position for San Francisco?
The 6-foot-1, 224 pound linebacker is a little undersized for the NFL, but that hasn't stopped the 49ers before. It hasn't stopped him for Washington either, with Bruener recording 86 tackles and three interceptions so far this season.
Pick No. 234: Malachi Moore, Safety, Alabama
Malik Mustapha looks like a long-term starter, but that means someone will have to take his role as a depth option if he does receive the starting job for good .
Malachi Moore has never been the star that he looked like after his freshman season at Alabama, but there's no doubt he's a decent size at 6-foot-0 and 190 pounds and a superb athlete.
He needs coaching up, but he's an intriguing swing in the final round for San Francisco.
Pick No. 247: Giovanni El-Hadi, Guard, Michigan
The Niners need some interior depth as well. Giovanni El-Hadi is an excellent size at 6-foot-5 and 318 pounds, but he needs to be coached up with pass protection.
On the plus side, El-Hadi is already a good run blocker.
Pick No. 249: Nay'Quan Wright, Running Back, South Florida
The San Francisco almost have to sacrifice a pick to the running back gods right?
Nay'Quan Wright is someone I had in a previous mock, as he could be an intriguing change of pace in the backfield.
Wright is by no means big at 5-foot-9 and 196 pounds, but he's tougher than he looks on the field. Wright has 98 carries for 459 yards and six touchdowns so far for South Florida, as well as 19 receptions for 127 yards.
Pick No. 254: Isaiah Neyor, Wide Receiver, Nebraska
We conclude with one more holdover from my previous mock with an interesting weapon out of Nebraska in Isaiah Neyor.
Neyor has bounced around since a breakout 2021 with Wyoming, tearing his ACL in 2022 before spending a season at Texas and then transferring to Nebraska this year.
The wideout finally found a home with the Cornhuskers and has been a decent weapon this year with 32 receptions for 448 yards and five touchdowns. The 6-foot-3, 210 pound product has some decent size also for the NFL and feels like an interesting under-the-radar candidate.
