After a down year, the San Francisco 49ers were left looking for answers to some big questions.

One thing the fan base was able to figure out right away, on Day 1 of the league's legal tampering period, was that this team is going to look vastly different next year.

After already seeing a few notable players find new homes, the 49ers announced they were releasing a fan favorite.

The 49ers have announced the release of full back Kyle Juszczyk

Following eight seasons with the 49ers, Kyle Juszczyk is now going to be a free agent.

This wasn't just eight seasons, though. This was eight-straight Pro Bowl seasons for Juszczyk. After four years with the Baltimore Ravens to begin his career, Juszczyk found a home in San Francisco and never looked back.

Widely viewed as the league's top full back, Juszczyk was a Swiss Army Knife of sorts for the Niners. He could occasionally tote the ball, at times would be used as a receiver and would even show some impressive skills after the catch.

Of course, Juszczyk was a phenomenal blocker. But, it was the receiving game where he made a living in terms of the ball being in his hands. He caught it far more than he ran it, and ended his Niners career with 184 receptions for 1,895 yards and 13 receiving touchdowns.

His release comes on the same day San Francisco lost safety Talanoa Hufanga and linebacker Dre Greenlaw to the Denver Broncos, Aaron Banks to the Green Bay Packers and cornerback Charvarius Ward to the Indianapolis Colts all via free agency.

The Niners have also let go of another former multi-use offensive weapon when they traded Deebo Samuel to the Washington Commanders. Sure, that trade was seen as one which had to be coming for a while. But, it is still a loss, nonetheless.
