Top 10 sleepers for 49ers heading into 2023 NFL Draft

49ers NFL Draft sleeper target No. 1: OL Jarrett Patterson, Notre Dame
The 49ers said goodbye to one former Notre Dame offensive lineman, now-Denver Broncos offensive tackle Mike McGlinchey, via free agency this offseason.
Perhaps the draft affords an opportunity to onboard another.
Right tackle is still a question mark in McGlinchey’s wake, but the Niners could stand to reinforce the interior. Especially at center where veteran journeyman Jake Brendel is a nice option but not a long-term fixture.
And it’s possible San Francisco looks to find an even better option at right guard where Spencer Burford appears to be the favorite after platooning there a season ago.

Patterson is an excellent interior lineman and looks to be a seamless fit in a zone-style blocking system.
While he might not slip through Round 3, the 49ers shouldn’t hesitate if he somehow makes it into Round 5.
The 2023 NFL Draft kicks off on Thursday, April 27.
