It doesn’t appear as if the oddsmakers are writing off the San Francisco 49ers as a top Super Bowl contender a year from now.

For every team and fanbase that doesn’t with the Super Bowl (that’d be 31, precisely), one of the first questions that’ll be asked is “what are the chances of us winning the Super Bowl next season?”

Heck, even the Super Bowl-winning Kansas City Chiefs are probably wondering if they can repeat after knocking off the Philadelphia Eagles on Feb. 12.

Meanwhile, San Francisco 49ers fans can be frustrated after their team has come awfully close in three of the last four years, losing to those Chiefs in Super Bowl LIV before falling short in the NFC Championship in back-to-back years, most recently to that same Philly team that ultimately lost to quarterback Patrick Mahomes and Co. in Super Bowl LVII.

In fact, each of the final four teams in the NFL playoffs this year is seen as a top contender heading into next.

So, let’s take a look at where the oddsmakers are placing the Niners as a Super Bowl favorite.

49ers tied for 3rd-best odds to win Super Bowl 2024

According to the oddsmakers over at FanDuel, San Francisco (+900) is in a three-way tie for the third-best odds of pulling off a victory in Super Bowl LVIII.

The Eagles and the Cincinnati Bengals, who lost to the Chiefs in the AFC Championship game, are also boasting +900 odds.

Not shockingly, Kansas City is favored to repeat at +600, while the Buffalo Bills are at second with +850 betting odds.

Meanwhile, the Dallas Cowboys round out the top six with +1500 odds.

As far as the NFC West, it doesn’t appear as if the 49ers will face too stiff of competition, as the Los Angeles Rams have the next closest odds at +3000, while the Seattle Seahawks are at +6000 and the Arizona Cardinals are tied for dead last at +28000.
