While we won’t know the 49ers’ 2023 schedule for some time, we do know their opponents, including a road matchup against the Eagles.

San Francisco 49ers linebacker Fred Warner’s wife might have to go back to Lincoln Financial Field after vowing never to do so again after the Philadelphia Eagles ousted the Niners during the NFC Championship game.

Why? San Francisco will be including “The Link” on its list of stops on the 2023 NFL schedule.

We don’t quite know the 49ers’ regular-season schedule yet, and we won’t for some time. That’s typically not released until much later in the spring, typically in May just before organized team activities begin.

However, the Niners’ list of home and road opponents is known. Among the road games San Francisco will play will be the aforementioned grudge match against Philly.

List of teams 49ers will play (home and away) on 2023 NFL schedule

There are a couple of notes regarding the 49ers’ 2023 NFL schedule, including the 17th game that’ll be played on the road this year after the Niners hosted the odd-number game at Levi’s Stadium last season.

This “at large” game will be against the Jacksonville Jaguars.

Additionally, San Francisco’s first-place schedule will feature inter-conference games against other first-place finishers, the Minnesota Vikings and Tampa Bay Buccaneers, and the 49ers will also square off against the NFC East and AFC North.

The Niners will play each team within the NFC West twice, once at home and once away

San Francisco’s strength of schedule, at least based on last year’s win-loss percentage, is the 15th toughest, which doesn’t say much.

And it might not matter anyway, especially if the 49ers enact some revenge against the Eagles in Philadephia during that particular road game.
