49ers 2024 Pro Bowl lock No. 1: Tight end George Kittle

Sometimes, the Pro Bowl is a popularity contest.

In terms of popularity, few on the 49ers roster should be as popular as tight end George Kittle. And while some may have worried about his production falling off a bit in recent years, 2022 turned into quite the resurgence, meaning his fourth Pro Bowl nod is absolutely justified.

After all, boasting a career-high 11 touchdowns probably means something.

Sure, Kittle didn’t make the 1,000-yard club, and it’s been four years now since that’s happened. However, when stacking Kittle up against the rest of the NFL’s tight ends, he’s still well within the top five, perhaps the top three.

Oh, and his personality has to count for some votes, right?

Provided Kittle stays healthy in 2023, he should be a no-brainer pick for the 2024 Pro Bowl.
