49ers prospect No. 3: Wide receiver Michael Wilson, Stanford

San Francisco will still carry over an impressive one-two tandem at wide receiver in Brandon Aiyuk and the All-Pro, Deebo Samuel. But the depth behind those two is lacking, especially for options other than the third-down weapon, Jauan Jennings.

Either way, especially considering the long-term possibility of potentially moving on from Aiyuk, finding a hidden gem late in the draft would be wise.

Plus, John Lynch always loves the Stanford connection, which puts wide receiver Michael Wilson on the radar.

Wilson, 6-foot-2 and 209 pounds, might be a bit inexperienced in terms of collegiate games played (14 over the last three seasons), and he also dealt with a nagging foot injury during that span, too.

That said, he impressed with a number of contested catches all over the field during practices, and that might translate into him being a solid pickup in Round 4 or 5.

His workouts and physicals at the 2023 NFL Scouting Combine will say a lot, though.
