Kyle Shanahan is doing it again. After beating the Cowboys, 19-12 on Sunday night in the divisional round, the San Francisco 49ers are one game away from the Super Bowl, this time with a rookie, seventh round pick, at quarterback. He’s nearly won it all with Jimmy Garoppolo at QB, but maybe Brock Purdy is what he needs to get over the hump. They’ll be on the road in Philadelphia against the 14-3 Eagles who made quick work of the Giants this weekend, but Shanahan’s dream of finally holding the Lombardi trophy could come true this year.

If you like the 49ers to win it all, then you could get some good value betting on San Francisco to win the Super Bowl. Out of the four teams left, the Niners have the longest odds, +320.

San Francisco 49ers Super Bowl Odds

Brock Purdy has yet to lose an NFL start and he has two postseason wins under his belt, but going on the road to Philadelphia will be by far his toughest test. That’s almost certainly why his team has the longest odds to win it all. Purdy hasn’t been great in the postseason he’s only completing 62.7% of his passes, but for 9.3 yards per attempt and PFF has him graded with no turnover worthy plays and two big time throws.

If the Eagles have one weakness, it’s run defense. If Purdy doesn’t turn the ball over and Shanahan stays committed to running the ball with Christian McCaffery, Deebo Samuel, and Elijiah Mitchell, then they’ve given their defense a chance, and that’s all they need because this 49ers defense is as good as it gets.
