The San Francisco 49ers take on the Dallas Cowboys this Sunday at Levi’s Stadium. We take a look at three players who have the potential to stand out.

This Sunday, the San Francisco 49ers and Dallas Cowboys will meet at Levi’s Stadium in their NFC Divisional Round matchup.

The 49ers are coming off a victory in the Wild Card Round, where they trounced the Seattle Seahawks 41-23, and rookie quarterback Brock Purdy was one of the top performers last week against Seattle. In his first playoff appearance, Purdy passed for 332 yards and three touchdowns, and he added another touchdown on the ground.

It was one of the (if not the) best performances by a quarterback in his playoff debut.

Dual-threat running back Christian McCaffrey was another player who had a stellar performance last Saturday. He led the league in rushing yards for Wild Card weekend with 119 yards on the ground.

McCaffrey also added two receptions for 17 yards and a touchdown to round out his performance on the day.

Finally, another player who had an amazing day in against the Seahawks was none other than “wide back” Deebo Samuel, who had six receptions, 133 receiving yards and a touchdown, and he also had three carries for 32 rushing yards.

Samuel’s biggest play of the day, however, was a 74-yard touchdown reception in which about 90 percent of the yards came after the catch.

He proved once again how hard it is to stop him when he’s in the open field.

Who could be one of the top performers for San Francisco on Sunday versus Dallas? Will it be one of the usual suspects or will a dark horse emerge?

Let’s take a look at three players who could take over the game for the 49ers.
