Stud: running back Christian McCaffrey

Admit it, you knew this was coming, and not because you watched the game. It’s because all year long he’s been the workhorse of this offense. There are many players, for San Francisco, that have had banner years, but no one has been as consistent as CMC.

He’s fast as lightning and he has a knack for making people miss. So how do you defend that? One thing’s for sure, don’t ask the Seattle Seahawks. They tried for sixty minutes and failed miserably.

On the 49ers second possession of the game, McCaffrey settled in. He broke free for a 68-yard run that put the team in scoring position quickly, and he capped off the drive with his first touchdown of the day on a 3-yard reception from Brock Purdy.

He stayed consistent throughout the contest with 119 total yards and a touchdown. But most importantly, he was a reliable option. That alone took the pressure off the offense. No matter how the play unfolded, McCaffrey stayed available.

As impressive as this offensive showing was for McCaffrey, something tells me he’s only getting started.
