Studs, duds from 49ers Wild Card win vs. Seattle
Here’s who stood out, for both good and bad, in the SF 49ers’ Wild Card Round win over the Seahawks
For the first time since 1997, the San Francisco 49ers swept their division capping off a Cinderella season with a perfect 6-0 record in the NFC West.
The last time they played a division rival for a third time in a year they came up short. This year, that wasn’t the case.
On Saturday afternoon, at Levi’s Stadium, it was business as usual. Not only did they come away with the win, but after a close first half, they won in decisive fashion.
The 49ers cruised to an eleventh straight win, and Brock Purdy rolled to a perfect 6-0.
As hoped, there were no playoff jitters from Brock Purdy and the mid-season acquisition of Christian McCaffrey paid off early for San Francisco as he broke for a huge run and scored the first touchdown of the game.
If their first playoff performance is any indication of how they will fair against all other opponents, then fans are sure to be entertained and more than satisfied throughout the postseason.
Here are the studs and duds from the 49ers Wild Card win on Saturday afternoon.
