Top 3 most interesting 2023 opponents for the San Francisco 49ers

1. San Francisco 49ers vs Philadelphia Eagles

Perhaps only second to the Bills vs Chiefs games next season, this could be the game of the year in the NFL in 2023. The two top teams in the NFC will battle it out for a game that could play a factor in the top seed in the conference.

These two teams combined for an outstanding record of 27-7 during the 2022 season. While it’s not guaranteed that either team finishes with as high of win percentages next season, both should be Super Bowl contenders for the season in a row.

The Philadelphia Eagles are much like the 49ers in that they both have incredibly deep rosters with All-Pro players on both sides of the football. Both teams have a phenomenal blend of offense and defense with brilliant head coaches that are destined for success.

We would have to imagine that this will be a primetime game next year — perhaps even late in the season. Who knows, we could even see these two teams in the NFC Championship this year; which would make next year’s matchup all the more exciting.
