The 49ers can clinch the NFC West with a win over the Seahawks on Thursday Night Football, and we’ve got your game information right here.

Both the San Francisco 49ers and Seattle Seahawks seem to be trending in opposite directions after spending much of the season neck and neck in the battle to claim dominance over the NFC West.

The 9-4 Niners, winners of six straight, absolutely embarrassed quarterback Tom Brady and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers 35-7 last Sunday, while the Hawks somehow dropped their Week 14 contest at home against the lowly Carolina Panthers, meaning head coach Pete Carroll’s squad has now lost three of its last four and finds itself 7-6, fading fast.

With this context, head coach Kyle Shanahan and Co. can actually clinch the NFC West with a victory over Seattle, although that won’t be easy considering San Francisco’s historically bad track record at Lumen Field over the last 10-plus years.

And when one factors in the 49ers are down to their third-string quarterback, Brock Purdy, it might be a tall order to continue that winning streak into a seventh game.

Purdy, who performed well in his first start ever against Brady and the Bucs, is there because of Niners injuries, and those will be another factor in Week 15 versus the Seahawks.

49ers injury report vs. Seahawks Week 15

Purdy relieved veteran quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo (foot) in Week 13, and Garoppolo might not return until the playoffs, if at all. However, because of procedural moves, San Francisco isn’t placing Jimmy G on injured reserve yet.

And the same goes for All-Pro wide receiver Deebo Samuel, who appeared to suffer a serious ankle or knee injury last Sunday but might be able to return as soon as Week 17.

Both are still on the 49ers’ Week 15 injury report, though:

  • QB Jimmy Garoppolo (foot): OUT
  • WR Deebo Samuel (knee, ankle): OUT
  • DT Kevin Givens (knee): OUT
  • DB Tarvarius Moore (knee): OUT
  • DT Hassan Ridgeway (pectoral): OUT
  • CB Samuel Womack (concussion): OUT
  • QB Brock Purdy (oblique, rib): Questionable
  • DT Kerry Hyder (ankle): Questionable
  • CB Ambry Thomas (ankle): Questionable

All signs point to Purdy playing despite the oblique injury, and considering how bad the Hawks are at defending the run, the rookie quarterback merely needs to be healthy enough to hand the ball off.

49ers vs. Seahawks betting odds, spread, over/under & game pick Week 15

While Thursday Night Football might not be as dramatic as the last time the Niners needed a win at Lumen Field to clinch the NFC West, it’ll nevertheless be a challenge. Especially with Seattle in desperation mode and looking to avenge its Week 2 loss to San Francisco.

However, the oddsmakers over at DraftKings like the 49ers as 3.5-point road favorites.

The Niners’ moneyline is -190, while the Seahawks’ is +160.

The over/under for the game is 43.5.

San Francisco wins this game simply because it wants to run the football to alleviate pressure on Purdy, and the Hawks can’t stop the run anyway. Over its last four contests, Seattle has allowed an average of 209.5 rush yards per game, and one figures the 49ers will take full advantage of that en route to a seventh consecutive victory and a reclamation of the NFC West crown.

Game odds refresh periodically and are subject to change.
