49ers vs. Bucs prop bet No. 2: Tom Brady over/under 37.5 pass attempts

Tom Brady is arguably in a polar opposite situation as Brock Purdy, and we’re not just talking about age and NFL experience here.

The 49ers own the league’s best run defense, forcing opponents to average a mere 3.3 yards per carry. Playing into that, the Buccaneers also own the NFL’s worst rushing attack, averaging only 3.3 yards per carry and having netted a league-worst 879 yards on the ground.

Nope. No “playoff” Leonard Fournette to see here at running back, at least not that version.

Sure, Bucs offensive coordinator Byron Leftwich might want to be delivering some pounding “body blows” on the ground via the run game, but the situation points to the opposite approach of not even trying to establish anything on the ground.

Look for Brady to pass early and often throughout the game, as Tampa Bay all but abandons running the ball.

DraftKings gives the odds here at -115 for an over/under of 37.5 pass attempts from the GOAT.
