No. 1: Nick Bosa will eat vs. Panthers

Defensive end Nick Bosa is now a front-runner for the 2022 Defensive Player of the Year Award. He currently leads the league in sacks with six on the season, and he has been an absolute headache for opposing offensive lines and quarterbacks alike.

Now, if we recall the first time Bosa and Mayfield met in the NFL, that was back in 2019 on Monday Night Football when Mayfield was with the Cleveland Browns and Bosa was a rookie.

Bosa had two sacks that game all while talking a lot of trash to Mayfield, that disdain carrying over from their college football days.

Now while we are a few years removed from all of that, and Bosa probably doesn’t have as vivid of memories of Mayfield planting the Oklahoma flag at his alma mater Ohio State’s field, he will not be showing any mercy to Mayfield.

Also to note is that Mayfield is in the top 10 for most sacked quarterbacks this season, being brought down 11 times in 2022.

With that in mind, it feels like a safe prediction to say that the sack-leader Bosa will eat on Sunday. Look for him to have at least two sacks Sunday afternoon.
