49ers game today vs. Rams: Niners injury report, betting odds, schedule, live stream, TV channel for Monday night
By Peter Panacy
The 49ers need to get back in the win column, and doing so against the visiting Rams on Monday Night Football would be a great idea.
There’s an argument the San Francisco 49ers could be a perfect 3-0 on the season, particularly if they hadn’t looked so sluggish and disjointed in the Week 1 rain-soaked loss to the Chicago Bears and if they managed to muster at least some second-half offense against the Denver Broncos in Week 3.
Alas, the 1-2 Niners are hoping for a “get right” game against the visiting 2-1 Los Angeles Rams on Monday Night Football in Week 4.
Given head coach Kyle Shanahan’s squad has won six out of seven games against its NFC West rivals from Southern California, there’s a good chance of that happening.
Sure, San Francisco’s offense has struggled this year, boasting a mere 37 points which are tied for fourth worst in the league. But LA, already having turned the ball over seven times this season, is struggling on offense, too, while the 49ers defense will look to maintain the same kind of prowess it has shown up to this point.
With a chance for the Niners to jump right back into first place within the NFC West with a victory on Monday night, let’s break down the latest injury updates, betting odds and how fans can tune in live.
49ers Monday Night Football injury report vs. Rams Week 4
San Francisco suffered a major blow by losing All-Pro left tackle Trent Williams to a high-ankle sprain in Week 3, meaning reserve lineman Colton McKivitz will be tasked with going up against Rams All-Pro defensive tackle Aaron Donald on a frequent basis.
Not an easy proposition.
As for the remaining names on the 49ers’ Week 4 injury report, here you go:
- OUT
- OT Trent Williams (ankle)
- RB Tyrion Davis-Price (ankle)
- TE Tyler Kroft (knee)
- DB Tarvarius Moore (hamstring)
- LB Azeez Al-Shaair (knee)
- Doubtful
- WR Danny Gray (hip)
- Questionable
- DL Arik Armstead (foot)
- TE Ross Dwelley (rib)
- DT Javon Kinlaw (knee)
The Niners do receive some reinforcement, though, with the versatile Daniel Brunskill returning to the offensive line after missing the first three weeks with a hamstring injury, and that potentially bodes well, given his prior track record against Donald.
49ers vs. Rams odds, spread, over/under & Week 4 betting pick for Monday Night Football
Despite coughing up a stinker to Denver in Week 3, San Francisco is nevertheless a 1.5-point home favorite, according to the oddsmakers over at WynnBET.
The spread hasn’t moved since it initially opened entering the week.

The Niners’ moneyline for the contest is -120, while Los Angeles’ is +100.
The over/under is currently set at 42.0.
While San Francisco does have a strong recent history against its NFC West rivals, having won six of its last seven games, including last season’s NFC Championship loss, let’s go ahead and assume Shanahan’s offense still struggles to find its way in this way.
And that leads to an unfortunate but telling 27-13 loss for the red and gold.
