It’s that time of the NFL calendar that is the most brutal for the realities of players and prospects hoping to make their dreams of playing professional football come true. Final roster cuts are due for every team, including the San Francisco 49ers, by the end of the afternoon on Tuesday (1 p.m. PT), which means John Lynch and company must pare down the offseason roster from the 80 players allowed on Monday to only 53 by the deadline.

The Niners have already created 10 roster spots over the last two weeks as the NFL instituted smaller deadlines over each of the last two Tuesdays to bring the roster slowly down from 90 to 85 and then 80. However, 27 more names will ultimately be submitted for release or injured lists (or a potential trade).

The Niners have already taken care of the single biggest item on the agenda with the restructured deal for Jimmy Garoppolo. Now they’ve turned their attention to shaping other positions on the depth chart to prepare for the upcoming regular season.

Here’s a look at the full list of players who have been released. Keep this page bookmarked for all of the latest information.
