Round 3, Pick No. 93 Overall: 49ers select OL Logan Bruss, Wisconsin

As is the case with the secondary, the 49ers have some prime concerns about their offensive line heading into 2022, too.

Left guard Laken Tomlinson is gone via free agency, center Alex Mack is mulling retirement and right tackle Mike McGlinchey might not be 100 percent by Week 1 after suffering a torn quad a year ago.

Both starting options at the guard spots, Aaron Banks and Daniel Brunskill, could stand for upgrades as well.

Wisconsin has long been a factory for top-end offensive linemen, and offensive tackle Logan Bruss is in line to be one of the next here late on day two of the NFL Draft. The 6-foot-5, 309-pound prospect likely bumps inside to guard at the NFL level but has the flexibility to play tackle in a zone-heavy scheme, which Wisconsin operates.

Simply put, the Niners can’t overlook their O-line this spring, and an investment here would do a lot of good.
