NFL Draft Pick No. 19: New Orleans Saints – Jameson Williams, Wide Receiver, Alabama

Michael Thomas is an excellent possession receiver for the New Orleans Saints, but more help is needed. A speedy receiver would make an excellent complement, and Williams is still expected to be a first-round pick despite injuring his knee in the National Championship against Georgia.

A quick receiver who has the route-running ability to create separation from defensive backs and the speed to run away from them, Williams would probably be the first receiver off the board if not for the aforementioned injury.

An Ohio State transfer (making him technically the third-straight Buckeye receiver in this mock), Williams had 79 catches for 1,572 yards and 15 touchdowns this season for the Crimson Tide. He was simply sensational, and it was a horrible sight to see him go down against Georgia in the biggest game of the year.

Williams was also dynamic returning the ball and had two returning touchdowns for Alabama despite not playing that role for the Buckeyes.

Teams will need to be a little patient with him so he can get back to 100 percent, but he could be a bargain for whichever team snaps him up.
