Colin Kaepernick: 4 teams that should sign former 49ers QB

Colin Kaepernick landing spot No. 3: New Orleans Saints
Much like the Panthers, the New Orleans Saints are going to be in dire need of a quarterback this offseason after losing Jameis Winston to an ACL tear early last year and then trying to make that whole odd situation work out with Taysom Hill under center.
The Saints, who are trying their best to get out from under salary-cap hell, are nevertheless a preferable destination, not just because of the nature of the division as a whole but also because it’s a team in transition, namely going from now-retired head coach Sean Payton to Dennis Allen.
Sure, it’s possible New Orleans reunites with Winston on a one-year stop-gap kind of deal. However, if the Saints wanted to shake things up and bring Colin Kaepernick aboard, it would certainly make them much more relevant in the news than if they were dealing solely with a Winston-led squad amid all the transitions the franchise has gone through since former quarterback Drew Brees retired.
Kap would likely have to accept a veteran’s minimum deal, and it’s anyone’s guess whether or not he’d want to entertain that now, at least to just get back into the league.
But the Saints don’t exactly have much to lose here.
