6:30 p.m. ET. Sunday, Feb. 13. 10-7. 56. Rams -4. 12-5. 51. NBC

The 49ers missed out on playing in the Super Bowl for the second time in three years, but fans can still tune into the game and place bets on it.

The San Francisco 49ers nearly managed to make it back to the Super Bowl this season, overcoming a disappointing 3-5 start to the season to ultimately finish with a 10-7 regular-season record and a trip all the way to the NFC Championship game.

Unfortunately, though, the Niners fell short in that contest against their NFC West rivals, the Los Angeles Rams, who’ll represent the conference in Super Bowl LVI against quarterback Joe Burrow and the upstart Cincinnati Bengals, who certainly weren’t supposed to be here and somehow managed to upset the Kansas City Chiefs in the AFC Championship game.

It’s likely most San Francisco fans will be pulling for Cincy in this contest, as they don’t want to hear about a would-be LA victory from all those Rams fans out there.

Either way, the 49ers Faithful will surely be wanting to tune in for what could be an exceptional Super Bowl matchup from Southern California.

Rams vs. Bengals odds, spread, over/under & betting pick for Super Bowl 56

For those interested in betting on the game, the oddsmakers over at WynnBET list the Rams as four-point favorites, a line that hasn’t moved since odds opened shortly after the Niners’ defeat in the conference championship.

Los Angeles’ elite-level defensive front, including perennial All-Pro defensive tackle Aaron Donald, figures to make life hell on Burrow behind a suspect Cincinnati offensive line, and that’ll be a matchup that could ultimately decide the outcome.

LA’s moneyline for the game is -195, while Cincy’s is +170.

The over/under is 48.5.
