49ers 7-round 2022 mock NFL Draft, Christmas edition

With Christmas upon us, Niner Noise gifts you a seven-round 49ers mock NFL Draft with some of your favorite prospects under the tree.

By now, you’re likely done opening presents for your Christmas and holiday celebrations, and the only thing you can think about is just how far the San Francisco 49ers will get in the playoffs in January (hopefully February) of 2022.

After that, though, the biggest wish list will center on your favorite prospects the Niners will target in the 2022 NFL Draft.

Yes, of course, San Francisco will be without its own first-round pick next year because of last spring’s trade-up to grab quarterback Trey Lance, which also cost a compensatory third-round selection in 2022. But it’s possible the 49ers end up moving the quarterback Lance will ultimately replace, Jimmy Garoppolo, in exchange for additional draft capital to be spent by general manager John Lynch and Co.

We have no clue how the latter scenario will pan out, of course, and we don’t even know where the Niners will be picking just yet.

Still, that shouldn’t stop us from having fun with a Christmas-edition seven-round (err… six) 2022 mock NFL Draft, though.

To assist with the randomness of it all, we’ll count upon our trusty friends over at Fanspeak and their seven-round mock tool to help generate the picks, including other teams taking away prospects who’d otherwise look great in San Francisco’s red and gold scheme.

And while the 49ers can sit back and relax while the rest of the league drafts in Round 1, the real action kicks off with the Niners’ first pick on day two of the draft in Rounds 2 and 3.
