Santa’s nice list: EDGE Nick Bosa

Just like Deebo Samuel, EDGE Nick Bosa isn’t nice to opposing players. He’s sacked quarterbacks 15 times already this season ahead of Week 17, and there are plenty of those out there who feel he’s in the running for the 2021 Defensive Player of the Year.

By playing that way, though, Bosa is being awfully nice to his fellow defensive supporting cast, ensuring the Niners aren’t trying to spend too much this holiday season trying to stop opposing offenses.

If Santa had to decide whether or not Bosa was nice, he might just want to look at those sack totals.

Case in point, St. Nick carries around one giant sack chock full of presents as he flies around in his sleigh, while Bosa is delivering sacks on a weekly basis without the benefit of reindeer. Those sacks may not be full of gifts, but each one is special for San Francisco’s defense anyway.

Santa surely has to appreciate Bosa’s work here and will certainly reward him nicely on Christmas with plenty of presents under the tree.

Perhaps even a Defensive Player of the Year award. Wouldn’t that be nice?
