No. 1: Things can change quickly for 49ers on week-to-week basis

This can be either good or bad depending on which side of the equation. And if anything, being consistent is usually better than being up and down, and the Niners have unfortunately been more of the latter in recent weeks, still having lost five of their last seven games.

But as Pro Bowl fullback Kyle Juszczyk told us on a recent edition of the Niner Noise Podcast, things can change on a week-to-week basis. From his vantage point, all it can take is one big play to completely shift the momentum.

Turns out he knows what he’s talking about.

Earlier this season, the Rams were looking as if they’d be the red-hot favorite to represent the NFC in the Super Bowl, especially with how well quarterback Matthew Stafford was playing. After an ugly loss at home to the Tennessee Titans in Week 9, Los Angeles’ stock value took a major hit by losing yet another ugly bout to San Francisco.

Completely changing the narrative.

What matters now for the 49ers is to start stringing wins together and not being so up and down as they were before.
