Welcome to Niner Noise’s 49ers live game thread for San Francisco’s Week 8 showdown with the Bears. Discuss the game with writers and fans in the comments section below!

In a game where two teams are desperate for victory, the 2-4 San Francisco 49ers head to Soldier field in Chicago, IL to face the 3-4 Chicago Bears. Both teams will attempt to right the ship after suffering multi-game losing streaks.

One positive sign for San Francisco is the return of star left tackle Trent Williams, however, EDGE Dee Ford, cornerback Deommodore Lenoir and starting inside linebacker Azeez Al-Shaair will miss today’s game.  On the other side of the ball, All-Pro EDGE Khalil Mack will miss the game, but the Bears will reap the benefits of EDGE Robert Quinn’s return.
