49ers game today: 49ers vs. Colts injury report, spread, over/under, schedule, live stream, TV channel
By Peter Panacy
The 49ers host the Colts for Sunday Night Football, and Niner Noise breaks down the latest odds from WynnBET and your how-to-watch information for Week 7.
It’s a good thing the San Francisco 49ers‘ bye week took place right after a three-game losing streak and ahead of what could be a “get right” game in Week 7 against the visiting Indianapolis Colts on Sunday Night Football.
Now at 2-3, the Niners hope their recent skid can be put to a stop against a 2-4 Colts squad that has nevertheless won two of their last three games.
It’s also looking like quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo will get the start over the rookie, Trey Lance, who suffered a knee sprain during San Francisco’s Week 5 road loss to the Arizona Cardinals. But with heavy rains and wind forecasted for this prime-time contest, there’s an awfully good chance both teams will rely heavily on their respective rushing attacks to determine the outcome.
If the Niners want to get back to the .500 mark and revert back to the playoff picture, it’s important they take advantage of the elements and home-field advantage.
49ers injury report vs. Colts Week 7
San Francisco actually seems a bit thin, relatively speaking, on their Week 7 injury report, which is as follows:
- DT Javon Kinlaw (knee): OUT
- QB Trey Lance (knee): OUT
- LT Trent Williams (ankle): Doubtful
- LB Marcell Harris (thumb): Probable
- DL Maurice Hurst (calf): OUT
With Lance unable to go, it’ll guarantee Garoppolo reverts back to his starter’s status, while practice squad quarterback Nate Sudfeld likely gets the call-up.
Meanwhile, the Colts are potentially going to be without cornerbacks Rock Ya-Sin (ankle) and Xavier Rhodes (ankle), and they already lost safety Julian Blackmon to a season-ending Achilles tear this week.
49ers vs. Colts odds, spread, over/under & betting pick Week 7
Our friends over at WynnBET currently peg the Niners as 4-point favorites for their Week 7 Sunday night matchup over the Colts, and San Francisco’s moneyline is at -190. Indianapolis’ moneyline is +170.
The over/under is currently listed at 43.0, and it might be a smarter bet to look for the under, especially considering the inclement weather and the Niners’ recent struggles on offense.
Even though two weeks’ preparation time hopefully was enough to get that right.
As far as predictions go, for those looking for straight-up picks, how about San Francisco pulling off the home victory.
But the Colts nevertheless cover with the Niners winning by a score of 20-17.
