The 49ers are on their much-needed bye in Week 6, but there’s plenty of notable action for betting odds around the NFC West.

While most teams aren’t necessarily thrilled about an early bye week, the San Francisco 49ers should at least be somewhat thankful their bye happens now, Week 6, after starting off the year 2-3 after a three-game losing streak and already having lost a number of key players to injury.

Sure, the Niners probably would like a “get right” game against a lesser opponent right now. But for head coach Kyle Shanahan, the two-week break affords a time to rest up, regroup and try figuring out all that’s going wrong right now.

San Francisco is the only inactive NFC West team in Week 6, so the rooting guide is going to be pretty simple for 49ers fans everywhere: hoping the 2-3 Seattle Seahawks, 4-1 Los Angeles Rams and 5-0 Arizona Cardinals all lose their respective matchups this weekend.

The Rams are the only team with an inter-NFC game, while both the Hawks and Cardinals play out of conference.

49ers NFC West rivals betting odds, moneyline, over/under

Let’s take a look at some of the betting lines and odds for each of those contests for the Niners’ division rivals.

Rams vs. Giants Week 6 betting odds

According to the oddsmakers over at WynnBET, Los Angeles is a heavy 10-point favorite for this road matchup against the hapless 1-4 New York Giants that already is down running back Saquon Barkley (ankle) and quarterback Daniel Jones (concussion).

A relatively fully healthy Rams squad might easily be able to cover the spread, too, considering the Giants’ point differential before losing Barkley and Jones was -7.2, 26th in the league entering Week 6, and it wouldn’t be shocking at all to see LA run up the score here.

The moneyline suggests it, too, as the Rams are at -490 with an over/under of 48.5.

Cardinals vs. Browns Week 6 betting odds

Arizona managed to knock off the 49ers at home last week 17-10, which suggests a defensive showdown, but that might not be the case in Week 6 when quarterback Kyler Murray and Co. take on a 3-2 Cleveland Browns team that surrendered 47 points in a Week 5 loss to the Los Angeles Rams a week ago.

Oddsmakers at WynnBET actually list Cleveland as a 3.0-point favorite over the undefeated Cardinals, which suggests this would be a pick-em game if it was played at a neutral site.

Arizona’s moneyline is +140, while the over/under is 50.0.

Seahawks vs. Steelers Week 6 betting odds

Prior to quarterback Russell Wilson suffering a serious finger injury in the Week 5 loss to the Rams, Seattle taking on an inept Pittsburgh Steelers offense on the road probably gave the Seahawks a bit of an edge, even though their own defense isn’t exactly potent.

Despite the Steelers’ offensive challenges, their defense still remains a high-performing group, which figures to give a Wilson-less Seahawks squad a massive road challenge on Sunday Night Football.

WynnBET lists Pittsburgh as a 4.5-point favorite in this prime-time matchup, surely influenced by Wilson landing on injured reserve, while Seattle’s moneyline is at +180.

The over/under for this probable low-scoring contest is 42.5.
