Fantasy Football Must Start No. 4: Seahawks Wide Receiver D.K. Metcalf

While Tyler Lockett continues to flirt with being the NFL’s leading receiver entering Week 4, his complementary teammate, wide receiver D.K. Metcalf, also should be viewed as a must-start option against the 49ers this weekend.

Unlike Russell Wilson, Metcalf has only faced the Niners four times in his shorter career. During those games, though, Metcalf has hauled in 27 passes for 333 yards and three touchdowns, suggesting he’ll probably find the end zone at least once in Week 4.

This is also a favorable matchup for Seattle, too, as veteran cornerback Josh Norman is nursing a chest injury and could easily miss Sunday’s game. San Francisco is likely to feature two smaller boundary cornerbacks, Emmanuel Moseley and Deommodore Lenoir, the latter being a rookie and a player who could be mismatched against the bigger, stronger Metcalf.

Lenoir had trouble defending Green Bay Packers wide receiver Davante Adams last week. And while the rookie will look to bounce back, facing off against Metcalf will be quite the challenge.

One fantasy owners of Metcalf should happily want to exploit.
