49ers vs. Eagles: Behind enemy lines Q&A with Inside the Iggles
By Peter Panacy
Who wins Week 2 between 49ers, Eagles?
NN: The 49ers win this game because… and the Eagles win this game because…
"II: To put it simply, the Eagles need to play ball control and keep the ball out of the hands of the 49ers’ offense. They also need to end those long drives with points. A turnover to give the offense an extra shot with the ball would be nice too. The 49ers may still be the better team right now, so they just need to play their game and do so without mistakes. If they play above average on defense and take care of the football and get the ball into the hands of their best players, like George Kittle, they should be able to score a few more points than Philly will be able to score."
San Francisco already lost starting cornerback Jason Verrett and running back Raheem Mostert to season-ending knee injuries, so the 49ers are already shorthanded this early in the season.

Tack on the Niners’ recent inability to contain mobile quarterbacks like Jalen Hurts, and it might make for a contest they wind up losing when most of the experts and predictions cite as a would-be San Francisco win.
